Here is how to contact the California Franchise Tax Board
You can download, view and print California Income Tax forms and publications from the website at California Franchise Tax Board.
You can call the automated phone service from within the United States at 800-338-0505 or Outside the United States at 916-845-6600. This service is available 24 hours a day seven days a week.
If you would like, you can mail your request for forms but you must allow two weeks to receive your order. If you live outside California, please allow up to three weeks. Write to:

You can personally go to many libraries and post offices that provide Free California Tax booklets.
